NBC is officially the home of the new Bible series A.D.: Beyond the Bible. A.D.: Beyond the Bible will cover the events following Jesus’ death and the resulting start of Christianity. The 10-part mini-series The Bible created by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey was the number one new cable mini-series show of 2013 and the top selling mini-series on DVD ever released. The first episode of The Bible premiered with 13 million viewers on the History Channel.
